The Emmanuel Community includes all states of life: lay men and women, married couples, consecrated brothers and sisters and priests.

Today, 170 consecrated sisters and 25 consecrated brothers are in the Emmanuel Community. They answer a call to live in celibacy for the kingdom.

Their life is foremost one of prayer and adoration. Their principles of life are as follows - Adoration and Praise are the basis of their everyday life. They commit to 2 hours of prayer each day and intercede for the Church and its mission.

They lead simple lives and allow themselves to become even poorer. They have an active life, either in a professional capacity or in an apostolate. Their professional occupations are lived as a mission.

All the consecrated brothers and sisters attend an annual retreat as well as various times of formation.

They do not choose their mission but receive it from the Moderator of the Emmanuel Community. They are an encouragement to all of us to live in joy and hope !
